Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Is the John Deere XUV 865M diesel engine EPA-compliant?

A: Yes. The 23.4 HP 3-cylinder diesel engine is fully EPA and CARB compliant, making it 100% legal and ready for commercial, agricultural, and residential use across all 50 US states and Canada.

Q: What is the towing and cargo capacity of the XUV 865M?

A: The XUV 865M is a heavy-duty workhorse. It features a 1,000 lb capacity hydraulic dump cargo bed and a 1,500 lb towing capacity, making it ideal for hauling heavy loads and pulling equipment trailers.

Q: Does the included Hard Top and Glass Windshield make it an all-weather vehicle?

A: Absolutely. The hard top and glass windshield provide excellent protection from rain, snow, wind, and dust. For complete enclosure in extreme weather, you can easily add OEM rear windows and doors to create a fully sealed cab.

Q: How does the diesel engine compare to gas engines in UTVs?

A: Diesel engines, like the one in the XUV 865M, offer significantly better fuel efficiency, longer engine lifespan, and much higher low-end torque. This makes them the preferred choice for heavy towing, steep inclines, and all-day work cycles.
